II PHASE WEEKLY REFLECTION 1️⃣3️⃣ - 1️⃣7️⃣

  DAY REFLECTION 20 : 13 JANUARY 2025

Today was a productive day at school, starting with the morning assembly conducted by Class 10 C. I had classes with 7 A in the first hour and a substitution in 7 B during the second. The third and fourth periods were spent preparing new lesson plans. In the fifth hour, I taught Class 9C about body growth and bone development, followed by a session with 8C in the sixth hour on Diverse Ecosystems, where I introduced the three types of ecosystems. The day ended with a substitution in 6B during the seventh hour. It was a well-balanced day of teaching, planning, and engaging with students.

DAY REFLECTION 21 : 15 JANUARY 2025

Today marked the 21st day of my teaching practice (Phase II). I reached school at 9:15 AM and signed the register before attending the morning assembly from 10:30 to 10:50 AM. The first two hours were dedicated to remedial classes, helping students strengthen their understanding. During the third and fourth hours, I handled substitution in LP classes, engaging students with interactive activities. In the fifth and sixth hours, I provided English notes to students of 7th A and 7th B. The last hour was spent with 9.C, where I taught them about muscles and exercise, highlighting the importance of physical activity. It was a fulfilling day with a mix of teaching, remedial support, and classroom management.

DAY REFLECTION 22 : 16 JANUARY 2025

Today was a well-balanced day with both academic and extracurricular activities. I started with two hours of preparation for my observation classes, followed by teaching "Trophic Level" to 8.C and "Disorders of Bones and Muscles" in the fourth hour. During the fifth hour, I handled a substitution class for 6.B, and in the sixth hour, I assisted students with their Annual Day practice. The seventh period was free, allowing me to reflect on the day's lessons. The day ended at 3:30 PM with the National Anthem, and after signing the register, we left by 4:00 PM.

DAY REFLECTION 23 : 17  JANUARY 2025

Today was a productive day at school, starting with the morning assembly at 9:30 AM after signing the register. In the second hour, I conducted a diagnostic test for Class 8.C on Ecological Interactions from the unit Diversity for Sustenance. During the third hour, I had a substitution in Class 5.B, where I taught students Hindi numbers, making the session interactive. In the fourth hour, I handled another substitution in Class 8.C, discussing the Importance of Biodiversity. The fifth hour was spent in Class 9.C, where I introduced the topic of Disc Prolapse, covering its causes and preventive measures. The sixth hour was free, which I used for lesson planning. Finally, in the seventh hour, I managed Class 10.A, ensuring discipline while encouraging discussions. Engaging with students across different grades made the day insightful and fulfilling.
