HALLOWEEN DAY CELEBRATION

 Halloween or Hallowe'en (less commonly known as Allhalloween) is a celebration observed in many countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Saints' Day. 

Halloween  day celebration in colleges offers college students a chance to get creative and let loose, providing some sweet relief from studying.

So the associates decided to celebrate  Hallowen day in our college as association programme.

The program commenced at 2:30 pm and the performance order was Mathematics, Physical science,Social science, Malayalam,Natural science, English.Everyone dressed up as ghosts.It was a fun and enjoyable day!

Association of our department enables the students to meet the challenges of today’s competitive world by giving exposure to possible avenues. Eminent resource person are invited to share their real life experiences and the students are able to interact with them.

SWEETS are delivered before the program starts;

ITS TIME  FOR EVALUATING 110 STUDENTS OF BATCH 2023-2025.

Today we had our yoga examination at 10 am.We did 7 asanas, as part of the test. Before that we practiced to get ready for it.

Before 

Art is a form of self- expression .Art serves as a tool of education or enculturation. It is a type of therapy or meditation, as well makes human more moral. Art has the value of allowing catharsis; it gives an insight into human condition.

Fine Art: a visual art considered to have been created primarily for aesthetic and intellectual

purposes and judged for its beauty and meaningfulness. Five main fine arts are painting,

sculpture, music, poetry, theatre.

Applied Art: it incorporates design and creative ideals to objects of function and everyday use

/ utility. Eg. Cup etc. Art reflects not only the external world but also inner state of the artist.

Aesthetic education is an approach to learning that engages students in learning about works of art through hands-on inquiry, questioning, writing, and art making

After the introduction of the class, Sir teaches us to make paper flowers , hanging bucket using paper, greeting cards, scientific art using paper butterfly and 2 one rupee coins, some decarative hangings, glass painting, etc. by on hand experience.

Yoga brings the body and mind together and is built on three main elements – movement, breathing and meditation. 

Yoga has many physical and mental health benefits including improved posture, flexibility, strength, balance and body awareness.

The intent of teacher induction program is to provide a systematic structure of support for beginning teachers. It provides an opportunity to work closely with and learn from a veteran teacher. A teacher induction program can help new teachers improve practice, learn professional responsibilities and ultimately positively affect student learning.

At the end of the day, its clear that everyone enjoyed this program very well and all are happy to share their experiences.💓😊

 

Reflection day -1

Reflection was conducted in college by dividing the 110 students into 2 groups.

Each group contains 16 school representations.

I am added to the second group.

On the first day of reflection ,we hear the reflection after school induction of 8  schools such as;

Induction is an umbrella term for the supports put in place to assists teachers in adapting to a new workplace culture. Induction goes beyond understanding students, classes and curriculum. Information about the systems and processes that guide the workplace, as well as school norms, are integral for

teachers to settle in and feel confident; however, it’s important to keep in mind

the pace at which this is done.It is well understanded by whole students during school induction programme organised by the B.Ed curriculum in the first year.

7 A standard students conducted the school assembly today. 

After the assembly the principal gave certain instructions and announce the winners of the arts day festival conducted on 3rd october 2023.

SCERT organises teacher development programmes for teachers at all levels – from pre-primary to higher secondary.

This programme is held on the school from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm ,so we got substitutions to UP sections.

The students responded positievely and displayed their co-curricular skills.

At 2.30pm-3.30 pm the students celebrated dry day.

 Students used to celebrate 1 hour  as "Sevana Varam" to clean the school sorroundings & roads in memory of Gandhiji.

As a last day we met the principal and teachers and also thank them for giving these experiences.

We leave the school as usual at 3.45pm .

Altogether it was a good experience as a teacher trainee, our first experience to take class before a large group of students.

School induction - 5

 It was the fifth day of our school visit.

As usual we reached the school at 9.15am.

On the first 2 periods  the students are engaged in a program : documentary watching programme.

Documentary film learning media can make students satisfaction in learning so that interest in learning will increase.

 

Got a substitution in the UP section. It was very good experience to spend time with the children. 

They sang song and draw  pictures on the board and exhibit their abilities in the classroom.

On the afternoon section there are various programmes conducted such as ;

Gandhi jayanthi related quiz competition conducted by social science club, 

Maths club organized a mathz quiz and Science club organised a science quiz 

competitions.

We  help the club members to co-ordinate the quiz competitiions.

 ARTS DAY @ SCHOOL

Arts day extends from 10 am to 5 pm

 Art instruction helps children with the development of motor skills, language skills, social skills, decision-making, risk-taking, and inventiveness.

  

The children tried their best to perform on the Arts fest and it give a good experience to the audience.
