School induction - 2

 

On second day  we reached the school @ 9.15 am and  we meet the principal and signed the attendance register.

we got the chance for observing the two classes of our mentor teacher Sindhu tr. 

First class observation ;  second period from 10.30 -11.10 am.

Second class observation  ; sixth period from2.10- 2.50 pm

standard 8 , English medium

Its a saturday and the classes ended @ 3 pm

School Induction at  SKVHSS THRIKKANNAMANGAL

    Sree Krishnavilasam Vocational Higher Secondary School, Thrikkannamangal.

      

Infront of school

Today is the first day of our school induction programme.

                            Christeena & Anupriya P from natural science option

On the first day we arrived before 9.30 am and we met the school principal I B Bindhukumari. Then we met our concerned teachers and we explained about our purpose of visit. After that we went the staff room and started collecting informations regarding the school for our induction report.

On the first day onwards we get the chance to serve the food for students as a part of Midday Meal program in school, that was a nice experience to us.

MUSEUM VISIT

 

Kottarakkara Thampuran Memorial Museum of Classical Arts dedicated to the creator of Kathakali (the classical dance drama of Kerala) Kottarakkara Thampuran is a museum established for the promotion of classical arts.

There are five galleries in the museum – hand gestures gallery, Kathakali costumes gallery, coins gallery, sculpture gallery, Megalithic gallery. Some of the rare musical instruments like five faced Mizhavu, are also on display here.

The museum exhibits life size figures of Kathakali and Mohiniyattam characters in their original costumes; hastha mudras (hand gestures) used in Kathakali and Mohiniyattam and the books, ornaments, costumes used by great masters in this field.

Kottarakara Thampuran Smaraka Kala Museum, started in 1983 has been shifted to this kovilakam in 2010 April 15.
