CASABLANCA FILM ๐Ÿ“ฝ️ FEST ๐Ÿ˜





 Film festivals can be valuable for B.Ed students as they provide an opportunity to explore diverse perspectives, cultures, and educational themes through cinema. Attending film festivals can enhance their understanding of visual storytelling, teaching methods, and the use of multimedia in education. It also allows students to engage with relevant educational documentaries, fostering critical thinking and discussions that can be incorporated into their future teaching practices.





NITHARA College Union 2023- 2024 conducted film festival on 23 january 2024 at three halls.

 Time: 9.45am-3.45am 

The programme was inaugurated by our principal Shri. Riju John and after inauguration ceremony union conduct a quiz session and Abhishek from Natural Science conduct the quiz session. After that different movies from different genres present in different halls.

The film festival showcased a diverse array of movies, spanning various genres and cultures. Attendees were immersed in a cinematic experience that ranged from thought-provoking documentaries to captivating narratives. A quiz, testing participants' knowledge of film history and trivia, added an interactive element, fostering engagement and enthusiasm among the audience. Additionally, an exhibition complemented the screenings, featuring behind-the-scenes glimpses, film memorabilia, and interactive displays, enhancing the overall festival atmosphere.

SCINTILLA ๐ŸŒŸ 2

 The second cycle of social science association day was conducted on 19/01/24 at 2:00pm to 3:30 pm. Several programs including dance, song, games etc were conducted.Engaging games, including "What's in My Bag" and "Outfit Worth," brought a fresh and enjoyable experience. It include a quiz session also.

 The second cycle of malayalam association was held on 12/01/24 from 2:00pm to 3:30pm at seminar hall 1 of Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training college, Kottarakkara. Games section, dance, song etc like programmes are conducted.

NITARA❤️

 






Today College Union of the year 2023-24 was inaugurated by Shri. P C Vishnunath ,Member of legislative assembly and Arts club was inaugurated by the famous writer and speaker Shri. K P Anil Kumar. Our principal Shri. Riju John welcomed all to the function. The college union name was announced by our chief guest and named as NITHARA. The name was suggested by the student Amrutha from English department. After the inaugural ceremony all the department conducted varieties of programmes.After lunch there were a DJ party organized by the college union.

       
NITARA

The name Nitara is a Sanskrit name that means "having deep roots."

MICROTEACHING

Micro teaching using is a training technique in which a student teacher isr equired to teach a single concept wring a specified teaching skill on a small group of pupils in a short duration of time. Micro teaching is practiced in terms of desired teachings kills.

A skill cannot become one's own unless it is practiced periodically. A.W. Dwight Allen of the Stanford University first adopted the term “Micro Teaching” in 1963.

Thomas Green has explained that learning is not possible without teaching, but without learning, teaching is not possible. Among the different practices of teacher training,

Micro teaching is an important technique, which imparts intensive training in the component skills of teaching to the teacher trainees.
