Film festivals can be valuable for B.Ed students as they provide an opportunity to explore diverse perspectives, cultures, and educational themes through cinema. Attending film festivals can enhance their understanding of visual storytelling, teaching methods, and the use of multimedia in education. It also allows students to engage with relevant educational documentaries, fostering critical thinking and discussions that can be incorporated into their future teaching practices.
NITHARA College Union 2023- 2024 conducted film festival on 23 january 2024 at three halls.
Time: 9.45am-3.45am
The programme was inaugurated by our principal Shri. Riju John and after inauguration ceremony union conduct a quiz session and Abhishek from Natural Science conduct the quiz session. After that different movies from different genres present in different halls.
The film festival showcased a diverse array of movies, spanning various genres and cultures. Attendees were immersed in a cinematic experience that ranged from thought-provoking documentaries to captivating narratives. A quiz, testing participants' knowledge of film history and trivia, added an interactive element, fostering engagement and enthusiasm among the audience. Additionally, an exhibition complemented the screenings, featuring behind-the-scenes glimpses, film memorabilia, and interactive displays, enhancing the overall festival atmosphere.
