DAY REFLECTION 19- 21 OCTOBER 2024
Today, I reached school at 9:15 AM and prepared for the day ahead. The morning assembly began at 9:30 AM, setting a positive tone for the day with prayers, announcements, and student activities.The first half of the day was occupied with substitution classes.In the afternoon, I had back-to-back classes in 8C during the 5th and 6th periods. During the 5th hour, which was a substitution period, I introduced the students to the topic of Integrated Pest Management.The 6th hour was my regular class with 8C, where I continued teaching the lesson on Waste Management.The 7th hour was a free period.The day concluded with the national anthem at 3:30 PM.
DAY REFLECTION 20- 22 OCTOBER 2024
I arrived at 9:30 AM, ensuring I was prepared for the day's activities. The first period began at 9:45 AM, during which I had a substitution in my designated class, 9.C. I utilized this opportunity to introduce the topic Respiration in Organisms.During the 3rd and 4th periods, I had substitutions in classes 7.A and 7.B.In the 6th hour, I got another substitution in my class, 8.C. I took the opportunity to teach a portion of Reaping Diversity, covering half the topic.The 7th hour was my regular period with 8.C. I dedicated this time to guiding them in completing their notes. I clarified their doubts and ensured they understood the tasks to be completed for the next day.After the national anthem, I left the school at 3:30 PM, reflecting on a day well spent in teaching and managing classes effectively.
DAY REFLECTION 21- 23 OCTOBER 2024
Today, I reached the school at 9:20 AM and began the day with the school assembly, which took place from 9:30 to 9:45 AM.During the 3rd hour, I had a substitution in class 8C. I utilized this period effectively to introduce the topic of obesity.In the 5th hour, I had another substitution in class 8A, where I taught a topic from the chapter "Let’s Regain Our Field."Finally, during the 7th hour, which is my permanent class in 9C, I revisited the topic I had taught in the previous class. I provided detailed notes to the students, ensuring they had a clear understanding and a complete record of the content.I left the school by 3.30.P.M.
DAY REFLECTION 22- 24 OCTOBER 2024
I reached the school at 9:30 AM and began the day with enthusiasm. During the third hour, I arranged an optional observation class in 8.C, where I taught the topic Reaping Diversity. The observation was insightful as the teacher provided valuable suggestions for improvement.In the fourth hour, I taught my permanent class in 9.C on the topic Respiration in Plants.During the afternoon session, I handled various substitution classes.The day concluded with the national anthem at 3:30 PM, marking the end of a productive and reflective day.
DAY REFLECTION 23- 25 OCTOBER 2024
Today was a fulfilling day at school, starting with my arrival at 9:15 AM, followed by the morning assembly from 9:30 to 9:40 AM, which set a disciplined tone for the day. Classes began at 9:45 AM, and during the second hour, I engaged students in an interactive session on Modern Agricultural Practices. The third and fourth hours were spent in lower primary classes, where I helped young learners improve their reading and writing skills in Malayalam, a heartwarming and rewarding experience.The fifth hour provided a much-needed break to reflect and prepare for the sixth hour, where I taught Transport of Gases to the enthusiastic students of 9 B.The school day concluded at 3:30 PM with the national anthem, leaving me with a sense of accomplishment and purpose.
WEEKEND REFLECTION - 26 OCTOBER 2024
The fifth weekend reflection was conducted on 26th October 2024 in the presence of our optional teacher, where we shared our experiences from the fifth week of school internship (21st to 25th October 2024). Arya Sha reflected on the classes she taught and those observed by the optional teacher, while Adhitya from SNMSHSS, Elampalloor shared insights on student behavior and a class observed by the physical education teacher. Abhishek from St. Mary's, Kizhakkekara, highlighted positive student responses, substitution classes, and school duties. Anjitha from GHS, Karunagappally, spoke about her responsibilities during the Sasthramela,school programs, and the NAS exam. Anupriya(me) from SKVVHSS, Thrikkannamangal, reflected on substitution classes, observations by the optional teacher, and the constructive suggestions received. Lastly, Chinnu and Chandhana from St. Gregorios School shared their experiences of teaching, student cooperation, and their roles as invigilators during the NAS exam.
