Planning and Preparation for Community Living Camp

As a part of B Ed curriculum Baselios Marthoma Mathews II training college decided to conduct 5 day community living camp.The camp will start from 03 september 2024 - 07 September 2024 with the name "വിവിധ പാലതിന്റെ പൊരുളിടം". 

On September 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, an important session for the Planning and Preparation of the Community Living Camp was held at Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College. The day was packed with various activities aimed at ensuring the smooth execution of the upcoming camp.Assistant professor Dr.Praveena M and  Harivindh Nath V B were selected as the camp coordinators and Akhil Krishnan and Ansu Ponnachan were selected as student coordinators.There were five committees for the organization of the camp.The students were divided into the five houses for easy execution of the camp activities.

4. Amartya Sen House

5. kailash Satyarthi House

Each group include 21 to 22 members.I am included in Amartya Sen house.  Each  members of the group were  assigned for different duties. The students from each group selected a permanent captian and 5 wise captions for the five camp days.

The schedule for the day began with a Committee Meeting where all the key members responsible for different aspects of the camp came together to discuss their roles and responsibilities. This meeting was crucial for finalizing tasks, setting deadlines, and aligning everyone with the camp's objectives.Following the committee meeting, a House Meeting was conducted. The students were divided into different houses, and each house held a detailed discussion on how they would contribute to the camp activities. This included assigning roles to each member and brainstorming creative ideas to enhance our participation.

The day concluded with Cleaning and Arrangements around the campus. This was an essential part of the preparation as it ensured that the camp area was well-organized, clean, and ready for use. The students worked collaboratively, demonstrating the spirit of teamwork and cooperation that the Community Living Camp aims to promote.

This planning day was vital in setting the stage for a successful and enriching camp experience, where students will live, work, and learn together in a communal environment.
