From May 26 to June 1, 80 students from Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College in Kottarakkara embarked on a seven-day study tour organized by Saga Tours and Travels. The group, consisting of 68 girls and 12 boys, traveled in two buses named Sultan and Najath. They were accompanied by six staff members: Dr. Shamna Rani, Praveena, Jithu B Alex, Rev. Fr. M. Jacob, and Arun Raj D. Coordinated by Jithu B Alex and Dr. Shamna Rani, along with student coordinators Navaneeth A O, Abhishek Sebastian Peter, Arya Sha, and Niranjana R N, the students were divided with 31 in Sultan and 49 in Najath, ensuring a well-organized and memorable journey.
Day 1: Embarking on Our Journey to Coorg
Our adventure begins at Jubilee Mandiram, where excited students gather at 3:00 pm. By 3:30 pm, we set off on our journey to the picturesque hill station of Coorg, covering a distance of 550 km. The anticipation is palpable as we look forward to exploring the lush landscapes and serene coffee plantations that await us. Along the way, we make a stop for dinner, giving everyone a chance to refuel and share their excitement for the days ahead. Dinner isn't included in the package, allowing students to explore local cuisine or enjoy their own packed meals.With full stomachs and high spirits, we continue our journey through the night, ready for the adventures that Coorg has in store.
